When it comes to random sketches, there's nothing I love more than world-building--fleshing out the universe of a story in ways that may or may not be relevant later. The story in question here is "Under Stars" (you know, my scifi story that I've been trying to continue for ages). Expect much more of this stuff in the future.
I put this one up mainly for the stargate designs at the bottom. Also, the scan appears to have cropped out the important part of the top sketch-- above those buildings, there's a hole in the sky with the caption "a hole in the manifold". More on that later.
