If you've ever played the F-Zero games, you'll know what I'm going for here. If not... flamboyant and outlandish people driving crazy machines in epic sci-fi races.
Actually, only one of these eight characters is going to be a main(ish) character in US. The rest are just his competition... but I wanted to flex my muscles with these new grayscale markers and see what I can do. This is all just experimentation, really.

Messing Around With Grayscale Markers
I wanted to practice some more with lighter, less clearly defined shades of gray. This is the result... I know the top pipe turned out a bit weird. And for the life of me, I can't figure out why the school's scanner darkens everything down so much! It really irks me. The lightest highlights on the pipes there? Those should be pure white. >_<

Grayscale Markers are the best thing to happen since toilet paper.
Ladies and gentlemen, I think I've found a new style. Using these markers is SO MUCH FUN. Yeah, I still kinda suck at them, but I have high hopes for these babies.

I said HEY!
Our dorm now has pieces of paper all over the walls (so we can draw on them). I decided to contribute.

Anime Club poster
Helped make this poster for my college's anime club! I contributed the drawings of Mami and Machinehead. ^_^
I also added Alex Row, but forgot to take a pic of the whole poster afterward...

Just some feels
Yeah, I finally hit the "okay, I've rested enough; time to art!" phase of my winter break.
Two days before I go back. Gah.
As a warm-up for doing some real stuff, thought I'd draw some Katawa Shoujo, because FEEEEEEEELSSSSS, that's why.
(Kenji's yelling "FEMINISTS!!!", by the way.)
